About Us

We provide a culturally appropriate and stigma-free system of mental health and addiction education, prevention, treatment and recovery services

It is the mission of the Gallia-Jackson-Meigs ADAMH Board to serve as the behavioral health authority for the area; supporting and improving quality of life for residents by developing and maintaining a coordinated system of accessible mental health and addiction advocacy, education, prevention, treatment and recovery supports.

What We Do

The Gallia-Jackson-Meigs ADAMH Board works tirelessly to ensure that we develop and maintain a coordinated system of accessible mental health and addiction advocacy, education, prevention, treatment and recovery supports.

Here’s how we do it:

EVALUATE

The Gallia-Jackson-Meigs ADAMH Board contracts with local providers for the provision of services. The Board assesses and evaluates the services provided in order to confirm that these services are cost effective and efficient, while providing the appropriate level of care.

FUND

The Gallia-Jackson-Meigs ADAMH Board funds and promotes local support through grants and partnerships. In addition to the federal, state, and local funds utilized for services. The Board also works to garner grant funding and community partnerships to support their local continuums of care.

PLAN

Gallia-Jackson-Meigs ADAMH Board plans for a unified system of care by working with consumers, family members, providers, and the public to identify the components necessary to ensure that high quality, cost effective, and culturally competent mental health and/or addiction services are available to meet the needs of the communities.

ASSESS

Utilizing local evaluation and community input, the Gallia-Jackson-Meigs ADAMH Board assesses community needs in order to set priorities and determine the types of services, programs, and facilities to provide an integrated continuum of care for Gallia, Jackson, and Meigs Counties.

MONITOR

Gallia-Jackson-Meigs ADAMH Board reviews and audits the delivery of services through outcomes and programmatic and fiscal monitoring.

COLLABORATE

The Gallia-Jackson-Meigs ADAMH Board collaborates with families, consumers, law enforcement, stakeholders, faith-based and community organizations and others to ensure that they are providing the most effective prevention, treatment, and recovery support services to meet the needs of the of the community.
